iMedDoc releases new features for the Aesthetics market

Today iMedDoc, part of Clanwilliam, a global healthcare technology and services group, has announced new features in the practice management solution, making it available to more clinicians across the UK and Ireland.

 The Aesthetics market is a fast-growing industry, with over 11% of the UK population having an aesthetic treatment in the last 12 months and 13.9 million people considering treatment in the next 12 months. It’s vital that clinicians and practitioners are able to manage their growing patient portfolios effectively.

iMedDoc is an established clinic management solution that has been helping clinicians to simply and efficiently manage their practices for over 20 years. Having launched in the UK earlier this year, it’s now launching new features that will allow the aesthetics market to benefit from managing their clinics safely and effectively.

The new features include a progress gallery that will assist practitioners when managing patients across multiple appointments, allowing them to understand the changes that patients have experienced and what treatments may need to be carried out in the future. Images can be saved with dates, descriptions and notes.

Another much anticipated feature is the before and after photos, allowing practitioners to clearly see the effect of treatments side-by-side. The images can be selected from any images within the progress gallery, allowing the before and after to be specific for any timeframe that the clinician would like.

Finally, the new features will include an advanced injection plotting tool, allowing practitioners to clearly record exactly where patients have received treatment and refer back to this record in future appointments. The mapping tool allows clinicians to include the details of the product, such as volume, batch and expiry date.
