Plugin Update Instructions

Below outlines the simple steps to update the plugin in iMedDoc. This must be updated before Monday, May 13th.

NOTE: Please uninstall the existing plugin from your system to install the new version – 2.0.0.0

 

Plug-in Uninstallation

1. To uninstall the current plug-in from your system, open Settings and click on ‘Apps’ from the left-hand side menu.

2. Search for the plug-in from the list, click on the 3 dots and then click on ‘Uninstall’.

3. Alternatively, you can also uninstall it from the Control Panel. Click on ‘Uninstall a program’.

4. Select the Plug-in from the list and click on ‘Uninstall’ from the top. Click on ‘Yes’.

Ensure you have the administrator rights on your computer

Windows – Download the plug-in here   –    iMedDoc Plugin

Edge

1.If you are using Microsoft Edge you may see the below “Downloads” pop up, click on the button with the 3 dots and select “keep”

2. On the next window click on “Keep anyway”

3. Click on “Open File” to install

Chrome

1.In Google Chrome, the downloaded file looks like the below.

2. Click on the file to run it

3. If you see the below window click on “More Info”

4. Click “Run Anyway” and “Yes” on the next Windows

5. You may be asked to close existing applications before installation, select the first option to automatically close applications and click OK.

6. You will be asked to close Edge or Chrome when the installation is complete, this step is not necessary and you can click OK on the below window.

7. The installation is now complete and you can use iMedDoc as normal.

Mac OS

1.If you are using a Mac then you can download the Plugin from the URL below

2. Click on “Always Allow” to install the plugin

Version Number

1.Once you have updated the plug-in in your system and if you are unsure if it has been updated yet or not, then you can check the Version number of your plug-in from Settings.

2. Alternatively, you can also check it within the Control Panel.
